So, this saturday I participate in bike ride on Day of Youth. We've visited three monasteries and ride about 60 km. The really nice part of ride was an excursion: nice lady told us about every monastery and about people, connected with it. It always nice to hear something new about a place you live in.
Weather was nice, so take few shots.
We started from historical center of the Novgorod: Sofia square. There were 40 bikers registerd, but only 16 showed up.
Our first stop in Yuriev monastery.
Next stop was Vyazhishchsky monastery with it beautiful porcelain tile.
Some parts of the way is perect!
Last stop was Khutyn monastery.
One of organizators ride whole 60 km on a-bike (varage speed was about 25 km/hr). Nice demonstration of an idea that such small bike is perfect for town, i think.
